Wooden Notebook Shikibun Original A6

A notebook of "Kyogi", which is made by cutting wood thinly like paper and has been used as a traditional packaging material in Japan.
The cover is "dark pine needle color" with the image of leaves, and the case is "cocoa" color with the image of bark. Colour was chosen to give the image of the trees in the forest, along with the trees inside.

[Notes born from handicrafts]
Unlike paper, making notes from living wood took more effort than imagined. Misuzu-san of Ina carefully makes the notebooks of this tree by hand-binding each one. Of course, there are things that are warped or splashed, and of course, they are quiet, but each piece of wood is made into a notebook, taking care not to break it as much as possible. It took a lot more work than originally expected, but it was the notebook that was born because of Misuzu-san's handiwork.
