About me

Hello! I am Haruka. I live in Healesville, Yarra Valley with my husband and our four beautiful children.

I started Yutori Studio to make a space where I can relax, enjoy what I love, be creative and share the space, time and creations with other people.

I have always loved crafting. I used to make candles as my hobby before I had four kids. When Covid-19 started I started working for a local florist. After two years of working at a florist and learning floristry and management of a retail store. I decide to start Yutori Studio by myself to focus on what I would like to do in my life.

I am also a lover / enthusiast of Japanese culture. I am Japanese and very proud of my culture, where I grew up and the sense of Japanese lifestyle. This feeling exceeds even more and more every day since I moved to Australia. Now I would like to show and introduce beautiful things which Japanese artists make with inspirations from their environments and lifestyles in Japan and also tell stories of Japan, Japanese culture and Japanese craftmanship to people in Australia.

I am excited that I can share my creations and also a beautiful, handcrafted giftware by Japanese artisans from Japan with you.
